The IMHS General Scholarship Celebrates 29 Years!

11/15/2017

The Iron Mountain High School graduating Class of 2018, will be the 29th class to be awarded scholarships made possible through the General Scholarship Fund.  Who knew this fund that was established in 1988 and first awarded in 1990, would grow to what it has today.  To date, over $249,600 has been awarded to IMHS graduates!  What is so unique about the General Scholarship Fund, is that any amount of money can be donated to it, large or small and does make a difference.  These scholarship awards would never be possible without the support from individuals who have contributed on behalf of their class, parents, siblings, teachers, friends or even a life event.  Donations of $100 or more are recognized on engraved display plaques, which are located on our NEW General Scholarship Wall, located on the main floor of the Iron Mountain High School.

If you are interested in making a tax deductible contribution as a graduating class, as an individual to honor or memorialize someone, or as a general donation to this fund, please contact Mel Laydon at IMHS 779-2610, ext. 4318 or email
laydonm@imschools.org.

Donations can be mailed to:
