Here is an update with upcoming State Semi-Final events for the week-- Thursday 11/17/22- -Please wear your school colors tomorrow for Black and Gold Day! (District wide) -Sign up in High School office by end of day to ride Fan Bus. (More information regarding Fan Bus: https://www.imschools.org/news--announcements/mhsaa-football-semi-final-fan-bus) 1:15 PM- North Elementary School Sendoff- North Elementary School hallways Families are invited to attend and participate in cheering on our Varsity Football team as they run through the North Elementary School hallways! 2:15 PM- Pep Assembly in High School Gym- Grades 5-12 and Mountaineer families are invited to attend Friday 11/18/22- Permission slip and $25 due for Fan Bus by NOON 7:30 AM- Send off in front of High School entrance, open to the public Saturday 11/19/22- Tentatively 6 AM- Students/families arrive to board Fan Bus Tentatively 6:30 AM- Bus departs 1:00 PM EST/12:00 PM CST- Game begins Tentatively 7:30 PM- Bus returns Time will be sent via email- Team returns to school, welcome back in front of High School Additional Fan Bus information, including confirmed times, will be communicated to those who have signed up. Please be prepared for the bleachers to be snowy at the game on Saturday, and Petoskey High School asks that patrons do not all wait until the last minute to enter the Stadium, as the line will get backed up. The Iron Mountain Varsity Football team will take on the Ubly Bearcats on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 1:00 EST at Petoskey High School Football Stadium at the MHSAA State Semi-Final game. There will be a charter Fan Bus traveling to Petoskey High School on Saturday morning for the MHSAA Football Semi-Final and returning the same night. This Fan Bus is available to Iron Mountain students, staff, and to Mountaineer families. First come, first served. All students/children must be accompanied by an adult, except for high school students (Grades 9-12) To ride the Fan Bus, it will be a $25 charge. This $25 must be paid prior to noon on Friday and those interested must sign up in the High School office prior to the end of the day Thursday. Please bring your $25 before Saturday to the HS office. If you are interested, there is now a sign up sheet in the office. First come, first served. There are a limited number of seats available. If you signed up earlier this week, you must confirm your interest by signing up on the new sheet. Remember, tickets must be presented digitally at the game and can be purchased on gofan.co for $10 each. Backpacks and bags will be searched prior to entering the bus. Those riding the bus are asked to meet at the front of the High School entrance at 6:10 AM. The bus will be leaving at 6:30 AM and returning approximately at 7:00 PM on the same day. Today, seniors Aziza Burgoon and Joey Colavecchi were announced the winners for Iron Mountain High School.
