Visiting presenters included representatives from the American Legion, the Kiwanis Club, the Toro Company, Packermania, MJ Electric, the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Rotary Club, the Dickinson Area Community Foundation, the American Association of University Women, the Good Earth Salon, the Lions Club District #10, Iron Mountain-Kingsford Credit Union, the Michigan Student Service Program, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the Marine Corps, and the Air Force.
Departmental Awards were presented for Mathematics, Spanish, Social Studies, Physical Education, English, Art, Instrumental Music, Vocal, and Science. Student Council, Be Nice., and Varsity Club members received certificates and senior members received graduation cords for their participation. The recipient of the Tortelli Scholarship has an overall high school GPA of at least 3.0., is a practicing Catholic, exhibits leadership traits through active participation in school activities and/or community involvement, attended grades 5 through 8, and graduated from Bishop Baraga Catholic School or one of the following high schools: Kingsford, Iron Mountain, Niagara or Florence.
U.P. Whitetail Association – Samuel Yake, $2,000
The recipient of the U.P. Whitetail Association Scholarship is admitted to an accredited two or four-year college/university, pursuing a degree in the fields of Conservation, Criminal Justice, Forestry, Wildlife Mgt. etc., and has averaged at least a 2.0 GPA through their high school career.
Mickey Horwitz Memorial – Olivia Hansen $500
The Mickey Horwitz Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior accepted for admission to a four-year college or university, pursuing a degree in Education, and has averaged at least a 2.75 GPA through their high school career.

The Georgina Mitchell Johnson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior that has been admitted to an accredited four-year college/university, with priority being given to students who are accepted and enrolled at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The Scott Allen Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior accepted for admission to an accredited four-year college or university, in a career path of their choice.

The Floyd A. and Margaret Brynelson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior that has been accepted for admission and enrolled at an accredited four-year college/university or other educational or technical institution of high reputation and has averaged a 3.0 GPA through their high school career.
Elsie Evelyn Trestrail Robbins Memorial – Isabelle Tregillis $1,000
The recipient of the Elsie Evelyn Trestrail Robins Memorial Scholarship must be a graduating female senior of IMHS, be accepted and pursuing a four-year degree at Northern Michigan University.
The George & Doris Engblom MacDonald – Senya Laurent $700
The George and Doris Engblom MacDonald Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior who is pursuing a degree in the social science field.
Magee Johnson Memorial – Olivia Hansen $1,000
The Magee Johnson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior who is pursuing a degree in Fine Arts at an accredited two or four-year college or university.
The American Legion Auxiliary – Zoey Blomquist $500
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #50 Scholarship is awarded to an Iron Mountain High School senior, with initial consideration to students whose parents or grandparents are members of the American Legion or American Legion Auxiliary Unit #50.
Simone Insurance – Isabelle Tregillis $500
The Simone Insurance Scholarship is awarded to a senior who averaged at least a 2.5 GPA through their high school career, and is attending an accredited two or four-year college/university in Michigan.
Dr. Ann Maycunich Gilley – Aziza Burgoon $1,000
Dr. Ann Maycunich Gilley established this scholarship for woman pursuing a degree in a handful of select fields of study at a college of their choice. It is intended for a student pursuing a four year degree, but applicants may begin their education at a community college. Recipients must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher through high school. Dr. Gilley selects the recipients of this scholarship.
Bette (Orella) & Lynn Gordon – Kilee Howe $1,800
The Bette (Orella) and Lynn Gordon Scholarship is awarded to a senior acceptable for admission to an accredited two or four year college/university, who has averaged at least a 3.25 GPA through their high school career, and participates in community service and volunteerism.
IMHS Class of 1971 – Amelia Stohl $1,000
The Class of 1971 established this scholarship to assist other Mountaineers pursue higher education. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and all other criteria being equal, financial need may be a determining factor.
Iron Mountain PTO - $1,000 each to Olivia Hansen & Isabelle Tregillis
The Iron Mountain PTO Scholarship is awarded to a senior that is accepted for admission to an accredited two, four-year college/university or technical school, studying in field of their choice The awardee also must have completed their elementary education in the Iron Mountain School District.
James Perino Memorial – Zoey Blomquist $1,600
The James Perino Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior acceptable for admission to an accredited four-year college or university, priority is given to the Fine or Performing Arts.
Tom Izzo & Steve Mariucci Student Athlete - $5,000 each to Joseph Colavecchi & Ellison Powell
The Izzo-Mariucci Scholarship award is a $5,000 scholarship awarded to Iron Mountain senior student athletes who aspire to be in a lettered sport (or club sport) at the college or university level, who demonstrate qualities of good sportsmanship and high moral character, and have participated in a multiple high school sports. Ellison’s and Joey’s names have been added to the list of awardees on the Izzo-Mariucci trophy that is displayed in the Izzo-Mariucci Building.
The Jacob Weslin Memorial – Callie Bianco $1,000
Jacob Weslin was a 2015 graduate of IMHS, who tragically passed in 2018. His graduating class and family established this scholarship to assist other Mountaineers who had participated in athletics pursue their education goals. Applicants must be planning to attend a two or four year college, have participated in Mountaineer athletics and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
American Martyr’s Scholarship – Luke Decker $1,000
This is an outside scholarship awarded by the local church.
Mildred J. Menze - $800 each to: Aziza Burgoon, Kilee Howe, Amanda Malburg, Shawn McGuire, Kyla Olson, Anneliese Person, Amelia Siodlak, Isabelle Tregillis & Leah Winch
This scholarship is provided by the Diocese of Marquette to students who plan to attend college or trade school. Preference is given to students studying theology or subjects in preparation of religious life, or in medicine and health fields. There are no religious requirements for this scholarship.
District 3 U.P. Trappers - $500 each to Riley Gauthier & Samuel Yake
District 3 U.P. Trappers provides this scholarship to students who are pursuing a degree related to the outdoors and have a cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher. Applicants must be involved in school activities/organizations and demonstrate community involvement and/or leadership.

The Kiwanis Key Club Scholarship is awarded to a current member, in good standing, of the IMHS Key Club for at least two years, demonstrates a GPA of 2.5 or above, and will be attending college as a full-time student.

The Iron Mountain Public School staff participates in a donation event called "Denim Week", where the staff pay to wear jeans to work. Donations raised during this week for this year's scholarship was in the amount of $805!

The Richard Olds Basketball Dedication Scholarship is awarded to IMHS basketball players who dedicated their four years of high school basketball and maintained at least a 3.0 GPA, and will be attending a two or four year college or university.

Packermania donated a $850.00 scholarship to Riley Gauthier. The man behind Packermania, Brad Borchardt, graduated from Iron Mountain in 2006.

The Bruce Bianco Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior who is attending a four-year college/university and participated in four years of Mountaineer Athletics.
M.J. Electric “Invest in the Future” (presented by Kevin Colavecchi) – Colin Petschar $8,000
The M. J. Electric “Invest in the Future” Scholarship was established to assist graduates of Kingsford High School and Iron Mountain High School who wish to continue their education beyond high school. Applicants must be attending an accredited two- or four-year college or university pursuing a degree in engineering, construction related majors, business information technology, or similar fields of study. Scholarship recipients are also offered an internship opportunity.

This scholarship is provided to Crystal Falls, Florence, Iron Mountain, Kingsford, North Dickinson, Norway and Pembine High School graduates who participated on a local or YMCA swim team for two years and have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
Iron Mountain -Kingsford Rotary Club - $1,500 each to Riley Gauthier & Amelia Siodlak - Presented by Mr. Dave McCash
On May 18, 1971, a Trust was established and named the “Iron Mountain Rotary Club Scholarship”. A worthy graduate of Iron Mountain or Kingsford High School was chosen as the recipient yearly. Beginning in 1986, the Rotary Club Scholarship was awarded every year to a
worthy graduate from Iron Mountain High School and Kingsford High School. Presently, the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Rotary Club Scholarship is overseen by the Dickinson Area Community Foundation. Two worthy students from Iron Mountain High School and two
worthy students from Kingsford High School are selected by the Rotarians each year to receive the scholarship award.
