Iron Mountain Public Schools welcomes Eli Ward, a new addition to the Iron Mountain Board of Education. Ward was interviewed to fill a board vacancy at the monthly regular meeting held on Thursday, June 22, 2023. One additional candidate was interviewed. Ward was appointed with a 3-2 board vote.
Ward is appointed through December 31, 2024 and will be replaced by an individual elected to the position on January 1, 2025 based upon the November 9, 2024 local school board and general election results.
Ward is the President and General Manager of Northern RV Center, Inc., husband to wife, Niki, and father to Mountaineers, Abby and Layla. He is a graduate of Kingsford High School, and earned his bachelor's degree in Business Management at Northern Michigan University.
