The FCC has a program entitled the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF). The ECF program helps schools fund devices to families who would otherwise lack access. Do note that this program is separate from the FCC's Emergency Broadband Benefit program which subsidizes internet access (more information about that program is located here - if you know of a family who could benefit that program please let them know about it). As part of the fund qualification process, the school must attempt to determine what the need is within the local community. To facilitate that data collection, I have created a survey which I am asking you to fill out. In summary, this survey asks families if their students lack access to a computer or sufficient internet in order to attend school remotely from their home.
If you could fill out this survey I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you know of a family who lacks access to a computer and/or internet at their home it would be beneficial if they could be informed about this survey.
Thank you and I hope that your summer is going well,
Mr. Benjamin Reath
