Dear Mountaineer families,
We hope you are all enjoying your summer. Included is information regarding the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.
Class will resume for Iron Mountain Public School students on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. A district academic calendar complete with all scheduled breaks, half-days, and days off is available on our school website, https://www.imschools.org/district-calendar.html.
Classroom supply lists for grades EK-4 can be found at https://www.imschools.org/class-supply-lists---north.html and supply lists for grades 5-6 can be found at https://www.imschools.org/class-supply-lists.html. Please have your EK-6th grade student bring their supplies on the first day of class.

We urge families to apply for free or reduced lunch by filling out the form available at
https://www.imschools.org/lunch-documents.html or the Superintendent’s Office at 217 Izzo-Mariucci Way, Iron Mountain, MI 49801 and returning the form the same address. There is no deadline for applying, but you are encouraged to send it in as soon as possible. Student balance guidelines as well as answers to FAQ’s about applying for free/reduced lunch are available at the same link above.
Bussing, open house, and orientation information will be communicated at a later date.
