We thank you and your family for being our valued partners as we work together to educate the children in our district. We value input from our community – and we need to hear from your child or children! Students are important partners as we work to improve our communication, academic program and overall experience for everyone.
In order to learn more about student experiences at school, we will be asking for your child’s feedback through online surveys they will be completing at school. The surveys shouldn’t take more than 10-15 minutes to complete.
We are asking that our third through twelfth grade students participate in the surveys during school hours, as their feedback will provide invaluable insights into their experiences, so we can improve our district and help support their individual needs. If a student doesn’t feel like they have enough information to answer a question, they will be able to skip the item altogether. We are partnering with a third-party vendor to support us in administering these surveys.
The survey content will ask students to self-reflect on their overall experience of school and their perception of their own self-efficacy, self-management, social awareness, emotion regulation, and supportive relationships.
Please notify us by Friday, September 23rd if you would like your child to opt out of taking the surveys by contacting Allison Cevigney. If you have any questions about the survey administration, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (906)779-2610 ext. 4815 or email@example.com.
We are also currently surveying all Iron Mountain Public School families in order to gain insight into your perception of our school and district effectiveness. To ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and career, we need your feedback. Please complete the anonymous school/school safety survey relating to your student’s school(s) below before October 24, 2022:
